Paver quantity planning starts with the field that will receive one paver product or one defined mixed-size bundle. Keep paved zones, deductions, borders, allowance and seller increments visible so another person can check the order.

Which paver quantity tool is available?

The Paver Calculator measures one rectangular field, or accepts a separately checked known area. It deducts up to 2 rectangular excluded-zone groups, applies an entered allowance and calculates whole bundles from current product coverage.

A second quantity basis uses verified rectangular paver-face dimensions. It gives an early whole-unit count and calculates bundles when the current units-per-bundle record is available.

Which records should you collect?

• Patio, walk, drive or pavement-zone identifier and approved boundary.
• Measured length, width or checked area for each compatible field.
• Pool, planter, utility, building and other excluded-zone dimensions.
• Manufacturer, product, color, thickness, finish and intended application.
• Current square feet or square metres per bundle, plus units per bundle when stated.
• Approved pattern, border schedule, allowance basis and spare-stock decision.

Run separate calculations when products, bundles, patterns, colors, thicknesses or seller increments change. Combine compatible unrounded areas before whole-bundle rounding.

Which decisions remain outside the calculator?

The calculator does not select a paver, approve a pavement design, set joint width, place a pattern, count individual mixed-size units, design edge restraint, choose base or bedding depths, or plan cuts.

Use current drawings, product data, project specifications, local requirements, seller terms and qualified project decisions. Cutting tasks also need the controls that apply to the material, tool and workplace.
